Ren Gruau (1909 2004) French poster designer and fashion illustrator Rene Gruau was born in Italy and moved to France to begin his career in design. From 1935 1939 he collaborated with the French magazines Femina, Marie Claire, LOfficiel, Elle and LAlbum de le Figaro. In 1946 he began working for International Textiles, creating their magazine covers
