With only a single retort this apparatus could produce an amount of gas equivalent to at least 25,000 cubic feet of coal gas enough petroleum gas for illumination to supply a village of 6,000 to 8,000 inhabitants. CONDITION This 134+ year old Item is rated Very Fine ++. Light aging throughout.
