Garret of the 42nd Division of Signal Corps testing a German telephone wire left behind after the enemy retreated at Essey. The second image shows a concrete German dugout, used as a first aid station. After the enemy retreated from the area, the dugout was used by the 3rd Battalion, 103rd Infantry, 26th Division as a battalion headquarters. CONDITION This 91+ year old
