Ancient Glass Beads, Afghanistan lacquer pale yellow fades to an16. 5" strand of graduated ancient glass beads from Afghanistan. Created over 2,000 years ago during the Roman Period, these Afghan beads are a mixture of beige, clear, and green glass, sphere and rondelle shapes, some with subtle texture and some calcification. Size ranges from 4mm diameter 12mm diameter. Fairly fragile beads, and so so rare!! Last pictures show 2 strands, A & B. These were traded along the Silk Road in ancient times, from my
