The bowl of the spoon is openworked with a passionate biblical depiction of Esther's audience with King Ahosuerus, where she invites the king for a meal with her and Haman. The stem is crowned with a bird figure. Hallmarked with the master's mark "IF" by Johannes Feddema. From 1799, he was a guild hallmarker in Leeuwarden.
