Brandt and Son in Haarlem, Johannes Ensched and sons from 1870. The Bible has two large silver clasps in Biedermeier style that do not close directly at the cover, as usual, but have a raised edge. This gives them a wider front than the Bible. These locks are very rare. The finely crafted silver locks were made by Jacobus Johannes Lazonder from Schoonhoven. He worked from 1857
