Zilveren miniatuur waterketel, J. Borduur, Amsterdam, 1754 zilveren vingerhoed Weight: 7418th century silver miniature kettle made by the silversmith Jan Borduur from Amsterdam. He was active from 1731 to 1766. The kettle is hallmarked with the city hallmark of Amsterdam, the year letter U for 1754 and the master's mark JB in one. A similar kettle is depicted in the book Nederlands klein Zilver by BWG Wttewaall, illustration 1001, page 328. The lid is removable. In good condition and heavy and solidly made.
