That is why it is popularly called parrot brace. The bracket was made by the silversmith Gerrit Swaantjes from Schoonhoven. He was master from 1780 to 1809. The bracket has been hallmarked with the master mark GS, Stadskeur van Schoonhoven and year letter R for 1789. The bag bracket is in excellent condition. Weight: 144. 6 grams.
