Zilveren miniatuur pijpkomfoor, D. van Strant, Amsterdam, 1753 Titel:Default Title The knife is marked withSilver miniature pipe warmer with a wooden handle, made by the silversmith Danil van Strant from Amsterdam. He was active from 1742 to 1756 and, like his brothers Frederik1 and Willem, specialized in producing toys (doll's accessories). The miniature is very finely and intricately designed and hallmarked with the city mark of Amsterdam, year letter T for 1753, and maker's mark DS. The miniature is in good condition.
